Save Our Space!

Dr. Edwards and his wife, Judy, attended a rally on April 11 at the Cocoa Expo, which was called “Save Our Space” http://www.savespace.us. This was a community rally to show support for the space program, particularly the human involvement in space exploration. It was about preserving the valuable resource that we have in our county of talented people who have made us #1 in space. The message was for President Obama who is visiting our area on Thursday where he will be laying out his program. “Save Our Space” was rallying that we cannot give up our position as leaders in human and space exploration. We cannot become dependent on another country to shuttle our astronauts to and from the space station. It was a moving rally, and was well attended with numerous local politicians. We all need to have our voice heard to preserve our heritage.
